I don’t like reading books.
Don’t get me wrong. I didn’t say I hate books. But because of my super hectic work schedule (which I’m intentionally trying to restructure…thank you very much), reading books back to back just looks like a chore.
I have a library. And every time I go to the mall, I visit the book section to “window shop” and maybe buy one or two books.
But here’s the funny part. I may not read cover to cover, but I like to select books from my library, flip through, skim, and pick points that I can implement immediately. This often lasts about 30 minutes or less…and isn’t on a daily basis. No time bruh.
Whenever I need a solution, tip, strategy, idea or something, I look for a book that could possibly provide such, skim, retrieve and say bye bye for now. Some books succeed in pulling me in, but the love never lasts forever. I dump ’em back in the library…till another day.
It helps me get smarter, and reduces my information overload. Plus, I don’t feel pressured about completely reading a hundred books in 365 days (yuck!). But I can go through that same amount of books using my reading pattern.
So, I’d like to share my digital library (of PDF books) with y’all who just don’t have the time to bury your heads in books everyday, but still want the gold in those books.
Every week, I go through a ton of books, retrieve helpful, educative stuff that can get a brain high, and share in a weekly newsletter.
I also link to these books so you can download too…mostly free. If you see a book with information you like, you’re free to buy too…#winks.
